Can I charge my own rate, upsell, and charge my customers a commission?
Absolutely. KiwiTxt charge you a fixed rate per month, depending which plan you choose, upsell to your customers, whatever price you want. For example, each month we charge you $100 for Affiliate basic plan, you sell each account $70 a month, that is $250 per month ($350 your fees - $100 KiwiTxt fees) passive income to you.
How does the fees work?
There are 3 fees, the setup fee, monthly subscription and cost per SMS. When you signup to a plan, we charge you the monthly fee e.g. for Affiliate Basic Plan its $100. There is also the cost per SMS, we charge the customer directly for usage, so that there are no surprises on your/agency end. The third fee is the one off setup fee, which KiwiTxt charges to customer or to you. The setup fee is per customer account, during onboarding.
What if I don't meet the account maximum quota for that plan?
You will need to pay the fixed monthly. For example the Affiliate - Basic plan, regardless if you have 4 customers or 3 customers, you still pay the $100 a month.
Who does the setup, and how does it work?
The setup must be done by KiwiTxt for each customer Account, with associated fees. There are admin settings, that KiwiTxt must handle and the affiliate agency can not get access to for privacy reasons. The customer will be charged the setup fee directly with KiwiTxt.
Any Free Trial for the Affiliate and Customers?
For the Affiliate there is no free trial, for the customers there is a 14 day free trial, which excludes the setup fees and cost per SMS.
How long does it take to set up?
Once you sign up, please allow our team 1-3 Hours to setup your CRM, after that you'll be up and running. So usually within a day or so, depending on our availability. At times, 1 hour if during daytime hours.
Are there any ongoing costs?
Choose between a monthly subscription per account, and about 12-14 cents per SMS. Occasionally we offer discounts, this will be communicated to everyone via email.
Do I get a NZ mobile phone number?
No, SMS rules in NZ are very strict. Your messages will appear from a 4 digit short code. This is a shared short code which other companies and businesses might also be using.
Having your own exclusive short code is considerably more expensive (which is one of the reasons KiwiTxt exists in the first place).
Do I need a NZ phone number ?
No, our SMS system and Lead Connector or Twilio work completely independently of each other.
